In line with its mission to foster stronger connections between EU candidate countries and Brussels-based institutions, the European Centre of Excellence (ECE Brussels) recently organised a short but impactful study visit for representatives of Youth Alliance Krusevo.

Despite the very limited timeframe for scheduling, ECE Brussels curated a dynamic programme of meetings, discussions, and networking opportunities in Brussels. The visit was designed to strengthen international cooperation, deepen understanding of EU priorities, and enhance opportunities for future collaboration between Youth Alliance Krusevo and relevant European organisations and networks.

The participants took part in a series of meetings with key Brussels-based organisations. These included Connect International, the organisers of the panel event “European Single Market Day”, Junior Achievement Europe, and the Centre for European Volunteering. The meetings offered the participants first-hand insights into EU programmes, policies, and collaborative opportunities in areas such as education, volunteering, youth entrepreneurship, and European integration.

In addition to the formal meetings, the participants also attended a networking cocktail event, providing a valuable opportunity to connect informally with leaders of major Brussels-based organisations, including EUROPEN, SEC Newgate Group, and others. Such encounters helped to establish personal connections and opened new channels for potential collaboration.

ECE Brussels was pleased to serve as the organiser and facilitator of this visit, demonstrating once again its role as a bridge-builder between EU candidate countries and Brussels-based institutions, organisations, and networks. This is an integral part of the Centre’s mission — to support civil society, companies, and public institutions from the Western Balkans and other candidate countries in building meaningful partnerships within the European Union.

As a recently registered entity in the EU Transparency Register (ID: 668401797159-25), ECE Brussels is further strengthening its presence in Brussels and expanding its cooperation with Members of the European Parliament, their teams, and various EU institutions. The Centre is increasingly contributing to thematic events and working closely with partners to promote the European integration of candidate countries.

The experience of facilitating this visit for Youth Alliance Krusevo further confirms that ECE Brussels is well positioned to offer professional support in organising study visits, networking missions, and collaborative project activities in Brussels. The Centre remains fully committed to serving as a trusted partner for initiatives that bring the Western Balkans and the European Union closer together.
