ECE Brussels empowers people and organisations to engage with Europe’s democratic, digital, and social transformations. Our Centre bridges institutions and citizens, fostering innovation, youth participation, and media and AI literacy - including ethical approaches to artificial intelligence - while supporting dialogue and cooperation on EU enlargement and shared European values.
Our recent partnerships and institutional engagements include:
Membership in the European Policy Centre (EPC) in Brussels, one of Europe’s leading think tanks on EU policy.
Membership in the Nets4Dem Network, an EU-supported platform aimed at fostering democratic innovation and civic engagement across Europe.
Membership in Connect International (CI), a European network promoting youth rights, digital citizenship, and ethical digital transformation.
Collaboration with EU and regional networks such as Junior Achievement Europe (JA Europe), the Centre for European Volunteering (CEV), and the Think for Europe Network (TEN).
Participation of ECE Brussels in Working Group 2 - Transparency rules applicable to deployers of generative AI systems - established by the European Commission’s AI Office, DG CONNECT under Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act.
Active participation in the activities of JINT Belgium, the national agency supporting international youth cooperation, including events promoting European youth mobility and engagement.
Strategic cooperation with the Institute for Good Governance and Euro-Atlantic Perspectives (IDUEP Institute) in North Macedonia, fostering collaboration on EU integration, democratic development, and digital transformation.
