The European Centre of Excellence (ECE Brussels) is proud to be a partner in the organisation of the Cassini hackathon North Macedonia, part of the wider Cassini Hackathons & Mentoring series of the European Union. The event will take place in Skopje and is an official component of the EU’s flagship initiative to foster innovation and entrepreneurship based on EU space technologies.

By supporting this event, ECE Brussels is contributing to a broader effort to connect young innovators, entrepreneurs, and problem-solvers from EU candidate countries with the European space ecosystem and to promote the use of EU space data for practical solutions in areas such as sustainability, mobility, and societal resilience.

The Cassini hackathon in North Macedonia will bring together multidisciplinary teams who will develop creative solutions using space data and services. The event will also foster networking and cooperation between the participants and experts from across Europe.

ECE Brussels, as a Brussels-based think tank focused on good governance, democratic development, digital transformation, and EU integration, is committed to supporting initiatives that empower youth and foster innovation. Through its partnership in this hackathon, ECE Brussels aims to strengthen bridges between young innovators in the Western Balkans and European innovation networks.

The Centre’s contribution to the event aligns with its mission to promote digital innovation, support the EU integration process, and help build capacities for sustainable and inclusive growth in candidate countries.

ECE Brussels looks forward to continuing its engagement with European innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives and to contributing to the success of the Cassini hackathon North Macedonia.
